Safeguarding Policy

Our commitment to protecting children, vulnerable adults and survivors of gender-based violence.

Our commitment

OTEGA Foundation works with children, vulnerable adults and survivors of gender-based violence. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who comes into contact with our work is safe from harm, abuse and exploitation.

What this means in practice

  • We do not publish identifying photos, names or locations of children or survivors without documented guardian consent.
  • Survivor stories are never collected through open public forms.
  • All staff and volunteers are expected to uphold professional conduct with beneficiaries.
  • Concerns are handled confidentially and escalated to the appropriate authorities where required.
